Forgive me if I demonstrate my ignorance with this, but are these not now
"legal" subnets, with the advent of CIDR? We set "ip classless" on our
ciscos long ago and have been using the top and bottom subnets ever since.
We have an x.x.x.0/27 net routed through an Max on frame relay, and
another on a P50. Both work as they should.
