(ASCEND) SecurID and MAX 4000

Hi,

Did you successfully make them to work together happily?

We are currently testing SecurID product here and there is a weird thing
happening.  We configure the MAX as a *direct* SecurID client (feature
introduced in 5.0A+) and we *can* do proper authentication only if I  use
the TCP modem feature of the box!  The problem is that when I use
"Auth=SecurID", my MAX won't answer to a modem call!  This might sound
strange but when I change Auth back to RADIUS, everything is fine again.

Any ideas of what's going wrong?
