(ASCEND) Returning V.34 cards.
Hi all,
Kevin, could we have Ascend offically announce an extention for returning
the old V.34 cards. Until all of the problems with the K56 modems are
worked out, I for one am afraid to send back the old ones. I have over
100,000 customers depending on us for stable connections. While there are
certainly issues with the old cards, as well as the new, I'd rather have
problems that I can deal with instead of having my customers cancel
because they're being told that they can't get on-line until Rockwell gets around
to fixing things, and then passes it on to Ascend, who will then pass it
on to us. There is way too much competition in the market for that.
The price of progress is getting more expensive all the time.
