In that case, I'd have to say you probably have a modem with a defunct ROM
chip. I know that I have to send back one of my modems because of that
with Supra. Try contacting their tech support and find out if this is the
case. Most times, they're willing to help and even replace the modem if
it's their fault (which it would be if it's a bad ROM or if the setup
program died halfway through...).
