Re: (ASCEND) Max TNT 100 Base T Problem

Did you add an default route in ip-route?

SPG-TNT1>dir ip-route
    33  05/19/1997 04:54:05  default
SPG-TNT1>read ip-route default
IP-ROUTE/default read
SPG-TNT1>list
name* = default
dest-address = 0.0.0.0/0
netmask = 0.0.0.0
gateway-address = 10.11.64.1
metric = 8
cost = 1
preference = 100
third-party = no
ase-type = type-1
ase-tag = c0:00:00:00
private-route = yes
active-route = yes

SPG-TNT1>read ip-int {{1 15 5}}
IP-INTERFACE/{ { shelf-1 slot-15 5 } 0 } read
SPG-TNT1>
SPG-TNT1>list
interface-address* = { { shelf-1 slot-15 5 } 0 }
ip-address = 10.11.64.254/24
netmask = 255.255.255.0
2nd-ip-address = 0.0.0.0/0
netmask-2 = 0.0.0.0
proxy-mode = Off
rip-mode = routing-send-only
route-filter = ""
rip2-use-multicast = yes
ospf = { no 0.0.0.0 normal 10 10 40 5 simple ascend0 1 16777215 type-1
c0:00:00+
multicast-allowed = no
multicast-rate-limit = 100

This is in a rip-v1 enviroment, So I don't know how helpful this
could be, Hopefully it's enough info to get you started.

FYI,

Also remember the 100M port on the TNT is HALF DUPLEX, A lot of switches
out there you will have to configure that port to be half.

And I also only use the 100M port and not any of the other 10M ports.
