Good luck with that :)

I've pretty much given up on Fedora lately. It's been _ages_ since I've had
a good upgrade experience with Fedora.

I grabbed 11 (kde version), tried to install it on a system that is
currently running fedora core 6, and the live cd won't even boot. Kernel
panic. Made a half-hearted attempt to get around it with various kernel
options... didn't find anything. Most recent Ubuntu live cd boots just fine
on the same hardware.

So then I installed it onto a virtual system (using Virtual Box) and it
boots and installs slow as snot. After the initial install on the first
boot, most of the kde desktop crashed.

I installed all of the available updates and restarted it - at least it
doesn't crash now. But it is still really slow.

Looks like I'll be staying in Ubuntu land for a good while longer.
