FYI:

This is a rebadged Atheros card with the specific hardware ID necessary
for ThinkPad laptops. You can't buy any old miniPCI wireless card, you
have to buy them from IBM. (If you try to use another, it refuses to POST)

Hurrah for vendor lock-in.
