The Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group to Evaluate and
Recommend E-Mail Authentication Protocols
  http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/041104/neth025_1.html

I'm curious what opinions folks might have on MAAWG, SPF
and if, instead (or in addition to) draconion SMTP hacks
we might actually graduate to using certificates
(e.g. S/MIME or PGP/MIME w/GPG, etc.)? I know the issue
is how do you get Grandma to generate a cert (or
public/private key pair) update her e-mail client appropriately
and help her when she forgets her passphrase. This also
assumes that e-mail clients will be able to filter based on
the presence of a valid signature.

Regards,
