I'm running Mandrake 62, but was having trouble with this today.

I tried downloading the necessary RPM's from the site referenced on
gnomemm.sourceforge.net, but that didn't do anything. I still couldn't get
things working even with gnomemm installed.

I ended up hacking the configure file to get it to pass the gnomemm test.
Check out the tests around line 5423 (I changed it to for test "$vers -ge
20008000").
