really crappy ATA100 controllers, IMHO. I've got an A7V, and if I have more
than 1 device plugged into the ATA100 controller, Linux refuses to boot.
(gets to the point of trying to detect the IDE drives, and hangs there).

I'm told that the latest BIOS may fix this; so I'll have to give it a try
some weekend. I don't have confidence, tho.
