RE: [TCLUG:3242] cool tricks
You can add built-in mainframe access to Michael Hicks excellent list of
tricks. I was registering from home via x3270 long before the U of MN
got their web-based registration system running. You can point out that
many of the tricks which you're demoing from a $50 RedHat package (or
whatever) are possible through Windows, they just cost you lots more
($350 for an X-server, $400 for a 3270 access package, ...). Don't
forget to point out the excellent low-cost support for developing
business applications, perhaps show your audience the latest Linux
Journal article on running a pizza order/delivery service on Linux.
