Please note that Caller ID and Call-Waiting ID are different.  If you have
Call-Waiting ID (you'd know this if you hear a garble after any incoming
call waiting beeps), your modem probably can't ID it.

I don't think some Caller ID boxes work with Call-Waiting ID lines, as it
is a different system.  Mine stopped working when I went from ID to the
new Call-waiting ID through US West.
