Thinking of switching

I have RH 7.0 and am thinking of switching to Debian or Caldera.  I have 
the Openlinux 2.4 from the installfest and I could download Debian.  I 
would be curious to hear if I should keep RH 7.0 or switch.  I have a USB 
external ethernet card for my cable modem and I would like to get it 
working.  The most important feature of RH for me is the rpm packaging 
system other wise I have no hesitation switching.
