I'm getting a Temporary failure in name resolution error when I try to
ssh or telnet to another box on my local home network. (ftp works fine)
And it's only when I connect to the machines on my local network. I can
connect to anything outside my network without a problem.
I'm running debian woody with a local DNS server for my internel
network. All my RH boxes work fine, but none of my debian woody boxes
work. Is this a problem with debian woody?
I tried putting the host/address in /etc/hosts and that didn't help. I
can connect with the IP address just fine.
Anyone got a clue?
