RE: [TCLUG:22469] 2 video cards 1 monitor?



Have you tried just downloading and running TV tuner software yet?

Just plug your monitor into the AGP card, start the tuner software, and
hopefully it will work.  That particular card you have with the tuner
doesn't render directly to the screen, it has to go through software first.
I suspect the video portion of that card and the TV tuner are not really
integrated at all.

Pretty much.  I'm trying to minimize the amount of space my system takes up
in
my bedroom, so I don't want an extra tower there just for the TV card.  I'd
rather not have the extra monitor too and just export the display to my main
monitor, but if I have to, I can use an old 14" and stick it somewhere.
