Well, if the things people on the list have suggested don't work, one nice
solution is the lp3 (http://lp3music.com/). It's a dedicated dsp which
decodes the MP3s so your processor doesn't have to. It plugs into a
printer port, then you use it for audio out. It does require power
though...
