RE: IMAP under linux
That seems to be pretty standard as far as IMAP goes. Deleting a message
just marks it as deleted and you need to "expunge" the folder to get rid of
deleted messages. I use a filter in Outlook to "hide deleted messages", then
I periodically "purge deleted messages", which can be done from the Edit
menu in Outlook. I'm not certain how that affects synchronization.
