Re: [TCLUG:14977] pseudo static ip

I really do appreciate the insight that you guys are providing. My
current plan has been to get the Deluxe 256K DSL from Visi and to use IP
masquerading and port forwarding for my private network.

However, in the future I will probably want to buy a domain name and
point it at my router. I will need two DNS servers to provide service
for my domain, so I'd like to know if my potential service provider will
do that for me. If it will cost money for them to do that, would it be
cheaper (or just as expensive) to buy a block of IPs and put two DNS
servers there (not the most reliable configuration, I know). And if I
decide to buy more IPs later, will things be made difficult for me
(meaning: should I take the plunge when I order, or can these things be
done easily afterwards).

Sorry to put forward so many questions, and I know alot of these
questions are more appropriately put to the vendor (Visi), but it is
nice to get the customer eye view of the situation (since that is where
I'll be).
