I use IMAP at home, behind a firewall from different machines. It is
nice to have mail in one place so I can zap Win9x and install the latest
Win* and go back (for games, devices, speed) without losing my mail
store. I don't have to worry about my wife's Mac losing files or trying
a new email client. It just makes things too convenient, which might
explain the "borg" effect. Is there some IMAP security advisory mailing
list you can sign up for (to add to the overwhelming pile of mail you
probably already have) so you might have advanced warning of any
security related bugs? Good luck anyway,
