hehe :) This was a fun project for a few bored moments one day last
summer. I was relishing in the usage of my new K6-III/450. :)
Carl: I see you've added your own fishmaps to xfishtank. :) is that running in
Carl: 8-bit color; or has that limitation been removed now? (I thought Xfishtank
Carl: would only run in -8bpp).
You can do that? Actually the extra images there are forms of
xteddy. :) And yes, xfishtank will run even in 32bpp. (I just tested it.)
Carl: how much processor time does it take up? from my experiments, it'll bring a
Carl: 486/66 to it's knees. :)
Carl: (tho the Solaris version ran quite happily on a Sparc 5, without any
Carl: performance issues..)
As I said the machine in question is a K6-III/450, with 128MB RAM, so
performance wasn't a huge issue. :)
