Republicrats in general aren't too big on
whacking businesses with the big stick of DOJ,
and given that AOL/NSCP/SUNW is a major employer
in the GOP stronghold of Virginia, I doubt that
our future prez (optimist am I!) will do much
of anything to throw sand in the gears. OTOH,
Bush may ask Governor Gilmore's advice on what
to do with the Evil Empire of Redmond, and Gilmore
will more than likely lend an ear to what Steve
Case has to say. :)
OTOT, if Algore and the Democretins return
to power, they'll probably settle for having a
National Software Control Policy Office which
will slowly strangle M$FT (and every other
software firm) in an Iron Maiden of Bureaucracy.
