Re: [TCLUG:18923] Modem Problem



As root do this
1.       ./MAKEDEV ttySx
2.        ln -s /dev/ttySx /dev/modem
3.       chmod 666 /dev/ttySx
          chmod 666 /dev/modem
4. Determine the irq
     cat /proc/pci
then do
 setserial /dev/modem uart 16550A port (the I/O goes here 0x6400) irq (your
irq)

add this line to your start up script. However I'm not completely sure about
the uart command
that's the value have for my modem, It may be different for yours.
