Re: [TCLUG:4352] Installing new perl.
Correct me if I am wrong but libdb.so.3 which is needed by perl-5.00502-2
is part of the glibc. The references to libdb.so.3 point to
glibc-2.1-0.990219.i386. So, I need to install the glibc in it's entirety
in order to get libdb.so.3.
[root@mi-recordz rtp]# rpm -q glibc
glibc-2.0.7-29
[rtp@mi-recordz rtp]$ locate libdb
/lib/libdb-2.0.7.so
/lib/libdb.so.2
Any warnings before I upgrade to the newer glibc?
