That's correct. All home directories and all user accounts exist *only* on
the server. I have root access on all of the machines, but wherever I log
in, /home is NFS-mounted and I'm authenticated to the server via NIS. That
would seem to indicate that the GID/UID problems mentioned below are not a
factor in my situation. Is that right?
