wmaker-0.53 and workspaces

I just upgraded to windowmaker 0.53 and now when I switch workspaces,
windowmaker flashes in the middle of the screen the name of the current
workspace. How can I get ride of this? (I got teh new wmaker-conf and
data, but I don't see an option for this).
