As a note, next release will pretty much be a developement release. So if you
want to set up a new server sometime soon, 0.95.1 might be your best bet.

Maps to reset. By default, most reset 2 hours after last played.
Unfortunately, for many maps, last played = anyone entering the map. So you
coudl theoretically have a map that was cleared a few days ago, but because
people keep wandering in to check it out, it never resets.

One of the things the 'maps command does tell you is when the map is schedule
to reset.

Some maps (like the shops) will reset in 2 hours after first used no matter
what. The reason this isn't done for all maps is because many dungeons are a
series of maps that can easily take more than 2 hours - you don't want that
entrance map resetting while you are down a few levels.

But it probably makes sense to put the beginners map on a fairly fast reset
time - they don't lead to anything, so the above problem doesn't apply.

There is no provision to automatically move a player from one server to
another. You can just copy the player file and that works fine. I don't see
adding automatic provisions anytime soon - there are too many loose ends
(server A could be a really easy server and server B really hard, so someone
moving their level 50 character from A to B could sort of upset the balance.)

The above is not just the server set up, but the maps. Server A could be
really easy because it is using a set of maps that players get a lot of
treasure from, where as server B doesn't because that admin doesn't really like
those maps.

I suppose something could be added where by servers that want to let people
transfer characters can set up some form of trusting relationships (server B
may not trust server A because of the map selection, but is OK with server C,
and server C is likewise OK with B).
