crossedit troubles

I'm having some troubles with crossedit.  Here it is in a nutshell:
coke [32] crossedit
Warning: info: has no acces /usr1/games/crossfire/c91/lib/doc
Error: Widget view has zero width and/or height
mem=2584 pf=9 swap=0 5.040u 0.990s 0:13.80 28+0io

This version of crossedit came from c91.1, and was compiled under
X11R6.  The Display I was trying to use it on is running an X11R5
Xserver, i think.
