HELP! crossfire 0.90.4

Has anyone else been having problems with the latest version?


We just installed 90.4 a few days ago and we have been having nothing but

problems since then. We upgraded from 90.3  which was buggy, but 

not this buggy. But the maps & quests are better now.


Here are some of the problems we have noticed,

- Constantly crashes, and doesn't do an emergency save so we lose all
  our hard earned equipment.

- Whenever we enter Santo Dominion/Stinking_bungalow, it crashes.
  This will always happen.

- Small/Medium/Large_fireballs shoot blanks. They don't engulf the
  area in flames.

- We weren't able to use our old players ( which were level 30 and higher )

- No areas for newbies to go and get EXP fast to move up lower levels quickly.
  This was a good idea in the 89 version because you could move up to level
  10 with a minimum of frustration. The little monsters are annoying when 
  you are a lower level. The "spiral" design was excellent for this, as you
  progressed it got harder, and when you finished you could be at least
  level seven, the really hard one was good for 250,000 exp.

- When you first start out, you get no weapons or armour. This was nice as 
  a default and when you had enough money you could buy better stuff.

We enjoy this game, but we're pulling our hair out here.

Anyone have suggestions I can pass on to my SYS ADMIN ?

Can you recommend any other maps besides the 90.4 maps?
Also, how are these implented?
