(ASCEND) PM2ei to P50-1-UBRI connection woes

We are using a PM2ei to dial-out to remote sites in our Centrex ISDN pool.
We have no problems doing this with Cisco ISDN routers but I thought I'd
save some money and use the 'old reliable' Pipeline 50 with NAT and Firewall
at our remote sites.

Problem #1   Our first P50 is a new unit that currently has 6.1.44 in it.
(We tried 6.0.7 and 6.1.19 as well)   We just spent all day trying to get it
to accept the name and password from the PM2.  We keep getting a "LAN
security error".

Spent a few hours with both Livingston and Ascend support on the phone and
they had no ideas.

Has anyone successfully connected a P50 using NAT from a PM2 with ISDN?
It works fine if we turn off NAT.

Problem #2.  We tried dialing out from the P50 to the PM2.  We can connect
one B channel but not both.  Any help would be appreciated.
