RE: (ASCEND) MRTG and Ascend
Here's an alternate way to use mrtg for port monitoring on ascends (only tested on max 40xx). It's a kludge of expect scripts to terminal commands instead of snmp walking the MIBs, gives us much better performance. You'll need to grok *nix and modify all the scripts a little to get it working.

Subject: (ASCEND) MRTG and Ascend
Is anybody monitoring number of dial-up users on a TNT using MRTG?
I have MRTG up and running but I can't find the right MIBs to query.
Thanks,
