(ASCEND) OSPF is lying to me!

I have a hit a weird problem while trying to get OSPF to run on my MAX
6048 (I think thats the # anyways)....

I followed the config guide exactly, and enabled all my OSPF settings
under Ehternet > Mod Config > OSPF, and it says RunOSPF=Yes.  But when I
go to the command line and enter:

show ospf ?

I get this message:

OSPF is not running

Did I forget to do something?  Is there some parameter that I'm missing?
