(ASCEND) Re:



I'm assuming this was answered before now, or you've worked out how to do
it.  The best way is to pull the information off via TFTP.  Go into DEBUG, &
do a TSAVE....  When you want to re-instate the config, you do a TRESTORE.
Doing it this way, you get passwords, etc in the configs.

Having said this, if Ascend want you to Re-build the box, they want you to
blow away the config, & build it from scratch.  They do not want you putting
an old config back in the box.

If the fault is staying with the slot, it sounds like you need to RMA the
box.

When a MAX is defaulted, the Term Server is disabled.  To use it, you need
to enable it under   ETHERNET>MOD CONF> TSERV
