Re: (ASCEND) Ascend Model Numbers?

MXHP-4T1-4 is the model # for the 4004 chassis
MXHP-4T1-2 is the model # for the 4002 chassis

MXHP-SU-2T1 is the model # to upgrade a 4002 to 4004 (turns the other 2 T1
ports on)

Hope this helps,
Patrick

I've yet to find anything on Ascend's site where you can 'cross-ref' the
Model Numbers of Chassis's to the current generic titles (IE: 4002, 4004,
4000). My question is basically this; I've had 4004's that the model number
sticker called them: MXHP-4T1-4

I've now got a unit I received that's labeled: MXHP-4-T1
Operationally, is that the same as a 4002? Seems to only have dual T1 (not
4 T1) capability which would be indicative of a 4002's capability. If
that's the case, is the unit upgradable via HASH Code Upgrade from Ascend
to 4 T1 capability.
