You could also use the Ascend-Maximum-Channels attribute to limit the
number of multilink bundles. Setting it to 1 effectively disables MP/MPP.

Last time I checked, setting Framed-Protocol to PPP does not disallow
MP/MPP, unless you have also disabled MP/MPP in the Ethernet/Answer/Encaps
profile.
