We see a lot of problems with Compaqs running Win98.  We get lan security
errors even when the password is correct.  They might complete logging in
one out of three times.  Disconnects are also frequent.  I would suspect
phone lines if it weren't for the fact that they are *all* Compaqs
experience this particular problem.  So, my guess is hardware - Compaq's
hardware.
