RE: (ASCEND) problems with pipeline
it works fine at 64K, but not 128K? as with all NAT issues,
check to see if you can software upgrade into the 6.x.x revisions.
also, are you sure your ISP is giving you the full 128K support
that you need? they might be having problems on their end when
you are using the extra bandwith.

i configured the pipeline to 128K and every few minutes (it is

permanent), it stops route. the line are still connected, i am
doing: sh
ip address. i see the address but i can't ping it. i tried both
MP and
MPP. i disable rip and rip2. i have tried to put idle timer=0,
and the
maximum. it doesn't help. meanwhile i configured it to 64k and
it seems
to work well but it's not enough bandwidth.
by the way it dials up to a Cisco access path.
any suggestions?
