RE: (ASCEND) Netgear RT328 - Router - Oddities
Eric,
I'm having a similar problem, but not exactly the same. Netgear dialing in
to our MAX 4004, brings up the first channel fine, the second comes up, the
connection locks up, no traffic passes through, and the 1st channel drops.
We get a start record in RADIUS with IP address of 0.0.0.0, and we never
see a stop record for the 2nd channel of the multilink, but we do get one
for "0" of the multilink. We've got a trouble ticket open with Ascend, and
are working on getting a maintenance load working with a dump server.

Subject: (ASCEND) Netgear RT328 - Router - Oddities
Have a couple of users with Netgear RT328 routers running RAS Software
V1.50 (C.00) b05 / ISDN V07b + ISDN V07f . If I upgrade to any firmware
past 6.0.2, these users can only bring up their first channel reliably.
Once they attempt to bring up their second channel, it establishes a
connection (LAN Session Up), then drops 5-6 seconds later with disconnect
cause 2, and progress 60.
Anybody else seen this? Do the customers need to upgrade the firmware on
their router?
Thanx in advance.
