Re: (ASCEND) Ascend 4048 with UNIX dial-up: How to?



There should be a checkbox (perhaps on the scripting tab?) specifying
whether or not to open a post-dial terminal window.  Assuming that
everything else is configured correctly, unchecking it and putting in ye
olde username & password should work.  It's been a while since I've even
touched NT...  Another thing to watch out for, if I remember correctly, is
that you may have to uncheck "Require encrypted password" (but this, of
course, depends on whether you're using CHAP or PAP; if the former, then a
cleartext login shouldn't work anyway)

P.S.  I don't see the list in the headers, and it didn't seem specifically
to me, so I've cc:'ed 'em.
