Just out of curiousity, what release are you running? 

I've been using 6.1.7 for quite some time with excellent results.

Very few disconnects, great connect speeds, stable (I've seen 100+ day
uptimes).

I think this release is about as good as it gets for the 40xx line.
Hopefully the 6000's will handle heavy loads without sucking.

Does anybody have some experiences to share regarding the quality of the
6000's?
