(ASCEND) Pipeline 50 and Bay Networks

I'm a newbie to this list, but hope someone can help us out.  We have a
Pipeline 50 that is trying to connect to an ISP that uses Bay Network
equipment.  We get a code 16 (which is normal disconnect) and they claim
that they are getting a termination due to an invalid user password.  I'm
not at the site personally, but both parties claim that their equipment is
set up correctly.

Should the pipeline be able to connect to Bay Netowrks?  If so, any
suggestions?
