(ASCEND) Pipeline 130, memory problem?

I'm running a pipeline 130 on a FULL T-1. I have the latest firewall
installed. I am running 6.1.7.

I seem to be running out of memory. When I boot the Pipeline, my memory
situation looks like this:
 > pools -v
Validating free lists...
0 errors; 8 buffers; 221568 bytes memory free

After a while of running (a week or so), it will often degrade to something
like this:
 > pools -v
Validating free lists...
0 errors; 6 buffers; 70464 bytes memory free

In addition, when I run an application that causes significant DNS traffic
(from our DNS to remote DNSs), it will slow to a crawl, and I can't login
(telnet) and it usually disconnects my circuit. Often a reset (hard,
because telnet is SO SLOW) will solve it, however it's quite consistent.

Any ideas on how I can solve this?

Thanks!
