We use DNEWS here, which has a spam filter you can use to
block known spam sites, and a little trick to block messages
by certain header content. Setting it up to block, say, "!!!"
pretty much zeroed-out the spam for a while, but the spammers
are catching on.

On the Negative side, it really needs to run on a damned Cray...

PS If this is a voting issue, then I vote "no" for an Ascend
newsgroup. If I had my way I wouldn't even have a news server.
USENET has gone completely to hell in a handcart.
