Re: (ASCEND) Getting 2 channels BitSurfer to Max4002

The answer to this mystery was that the Max that could not seem to accept
the two channel
call from the Bitsurfer Pro had Ethernet/Answer/PPP Options set to CHAP
instead of EITHER.
This seemed to prevent the second channel from coming up. Once changed to
Either -
the AT&F&C1&D2\Q3%A4=1%A2=95@B0=2 advanced string setting and adding a &0
(actually & with the last phone # digit after it) broght up the two channel
call like a champ.
Can anyone explain why this is so? Why would CHAP work for the first
channel but appear
to not work for the second?

Thanks.

I have tried adding AT@B0=2 to the advanced properties of the DUN profile.
  And I've tried
adding &0 to the end of the dial string. But I am still only bringing up 1
 channel with my bitsurfer
when dialing in to the Max. Anyone have the secret recipe for having the
second channel come
up?

Thanks.
