(ASCEND) SNMP on TNT

This has happened twice to me now. This is a TNT running Software version
1.3Ap17. For some reason, snmp just stops responding. The first time, I
saw that there was a large number in the InQLen for snmp. Reseting the
unit clear up the problem and snmp has worked since then. Now, on
another, identical unit, also running 1.3Ap17, I'm seeing a similar
problem. Here's a snip from the output from netstat:
e-z> netstat
udp:
-Socket- Local Port InQLen InQMax InQDrops Total Rx
1/c 8 snmp 560 0 0 3487

That number, 560 at the time of the snip, keeps increasing with every snmp
request, but nothing is ever returned.

I have a process that does an snmp request for tftp dump of the config
every morning at 1:06. I also request some session info every five
minutes. I don't think it's a coincidence that the last response I got
for session info was at 1:02 this morning. The request for the config
also failed.

Has anyone ever heard of snmp being "locked up" by requesting a config?
Also, does anyone know how to unlock snmp when it's in this state without
reseting the TNT?
