RE: (ASCEND) webtv
I wish I could tell you the secret clue to fixing this problem, but
we have about 30 some odd users and they connect fine out of the box,
well right after they figure out how to plug it in.
My boss bought one to try out and it connected fine, but he couldn't
get better than 28.8K and spent quite a lot of time on the phone with
WebTV before they finally figured out that they needed to send his
unit the update to the modem to make it 56K.
I'm using an original series TNT with 7.2.3 on it. However, I have
had some "issues" with 7.2.3, so I'm going to back off to 7.2.0
because I have heard most have great success with this version.
Besides it will give me something to do while I wait for the Y2K to
come. :)

What kind of luck have any of you using MaxTNT's had with connecting
webtv's? Is there some trick to making them work? When I've had
trouble
with getting them to work with other NAS, the only thing I knew to do
was
add 3 commas, but that doesn't seem to work on the TNT's.
Thanks,
Tim
