RE: (ASCEND) Protection Violation(2nd Try)
whoops,...I mean like this?
Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00001000 at 00000008
b03bf4b8 b01e7710 b01e3180 b01e3ab4 b01922d8
TAC told me that this was because outbound dialers were hanging up the
connection incorrectly....but noone dials out on this machine.

Subject: FW: (ASCEND) Protection Violation
I have a 6048 with 4 PRI, software Rev 7.0.3. Whenever I go into
debug I get the message below repeated about 40 times:
Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00001002 at 00000008
b02e8b18 b02e4e54 b0149e98 b0139644 b01923c0
I've got a hundred Max units but I've never seen this kind of message.
Has
anyone else seen it before? How concerned should I be?
I've tried mailing the question to support but they keep rejecting the
messages with a couple pages of instructions on how to program their
database. I called support on 12/1 to open a ticket but they haven't
responded yet. On a follow up call on the 8th, I was able to get the
manager
to commit to a return call from a tech by the first of the year. :)
Thanks,
John Clarke
