Re: (ASCEND) Data over Voice





To implement DOV on the Max with you will need a MSN# (Multiple Subscriber #) mapped to your original
trunk group. Basically it's a different phone number that hits your same hunt group. 

Once you have that set up and working you then plug that number in on the max in the following 
area :

Ethernet -->Mod Config --> WAN options... -->Ans 1#=XXXX

This will route any incoming call that matches XXXX to a HDLC. 

For instance on a hunt group of mine I have a MSN# mapped to the original hunt, The
MSN# is XXX-XXX-0062

So I have the following setup :

Ethernet -->Mod Config --> WAN options... -->Ans 1#=0062


So now when any user dials XXX-XXX-0062 he gets a HDLC digital tone no matter what the call
type is flagged as (analog/digital)
