RE: (ASCEND) Data over Voice
Ok, I got a couple responses to this.
The first reccomended pulling the modems out of a NAS. No problem, except
that it's rather stupid to split your diaup pools like that, as your
cost/user goes down as you increase the user/port ratio. Economies of scale
insist that the bigger the dialup pool, the cheaper it is to provide service
to a single user.
The second option (quoted below) allows for straight DATA or DoV, but not
both. We need both, as not all of our ISDN users will be capable or willing
to use DoV.
With that said, I ask again if anyone knows where in the configuration I set
up call routing based on Called-Station-Id.
