(ASCEND) max4004 ripv2 routing problem

I have a static route defined in my MAX4004:

90-401 216.152.16.0/25
   Name=216.152.16.0/25
   Active=Yes
   Dest=216.152.16.0/25
   Gateway=127.0.0.2
   Metric=1
   Preference=60
   Private=No

It shows up in my MAX's routing table:

sh ip route

Destination Gateway IF Flg Pref Met Use Age
0.0.0.0/0          208.146.99.9    ie0      SG      60   1   44638     816
127.0.0.0/8        -               bh0      CP       0   0       0     816
127.0.0.1/32       -               local    CP       0   0       0     816
127.0.0.2/32       -               rj0      CP       0   0       2     816
208.146.99.0/24    -               ie0      C        0   0   42694     816
208.146.99.14/32   -               local    CP       0   0    1589     816
216.152.16.0/25    127.0.0.2       rj0      SG      60   1     278     816

I have RIP v2 enabled in my Ethernet->Mod Config->Ether Options menu.
It is set to "Send-v2". (you'll have to take my word for it).

This route, however, is *not* being propagated via RIPv2 to my
Cisco. I've tested this same route on another MAX on the same
network subnet (only this one is a MAX4048) and it works fine. Is there a
wierd unknown bug in MAX4004s which does not allow them to propagate
statically defined routes via RIPv2? Am I missing a config option to
allow it to send that route out? Am I going crazy?

I'm running TAOS 7.0.22 on this unit (I upgraded just in case the bug
was with the IOS -- it still didn't work even after the upgrade).

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
