(ASCEND) Which 7 is a good 7?

I need to upgrade a Max4004.  It's currently at 7.0.1 or somesuch and the
multilink PPP does not work.  Here's what I need it to do:

* ISDN (has an additional HDLC card
* v.34 (has one 8-port card)
* multilink 4 channels for one customer (3 base and 4th on-demand)

Can someone give me a recommendation for a good 7.foo that will handle
this?
